Germany-via-Croatia artist Andreas Horvat joins Radio Slave’s REK’D with ‘Brujeria Del Congo’ on 6th November 2026, accompanied by four alternative mixes. The original blends squelchy synth sequences with a straight groove and soulful Afro-Cuban vocals by Luca Brandoli, delivering an acidic, deep, perfect-moment track that slots seamlessly into the wider Rekids catalogue. The Club Mix adds further synth work and groove, while the ‘Inner Freak Mix’ breaks down into mind-melting wonkiness. The ‘Deep Congo Mix’ and ‘Deep Mystic Mix’ take things into chuggier territory, keeping the trip going and rounding out a versatile package for the adventurous dancefloor.
Born in Cologne and raised in Zagreb, Andreas Horvat began exploring music through Zagreb’s Radio 101 before developing an interest in Deep House in the mid-1990s. Influenced by artists including Masters At Work, his sound combines soul-infused house with experimental electronic elements. He made his debut with ‘Mandinka Woman’ on MoBlack Records, which established his presence within the house scene.
Matt Edwards launched REK’D in October 2024 to release no-nonsense house music without the limitations of parent label Rekids. It has since become a home for dancefloor-focused EPs from artists including Avision, Ketiov & Edvvin, Uncertain, Rocco Rodamaal, Khadija, Denney, and more.
