Five years on from his debut appearance on Hot Creations, Hungarian producer Chiqito returns to close out October with his latest single, ‘Marimbas’. Following his ‘Phantom Of The Opera’ EP in 2021, his latest outing hones in on the elements that have long defined his productions, placing groove and percussion at the heart of a tightly worked house cut built to keep moving.
That direct approach sits central to the production, as Chiqito explains: “‘Marimbas’ is a track that came together from my love of groove, percussion and the energy of the dancefloor. I wanted to create something simple but infectious, with a rhythm that keeps moving and gives the track its own character. It’s one of those tracks that feels natural when I play it in a club, and I’m really happy that it’s now part of my journey with Hot Creations. Having ‘Marimbas’ released on a label with such a strong history and identity in House music means a lot to me.”
Producing as Chiqito for well over a decade, Acsai Attila first broke through over a decade ago on Cuartero’s SANITY, drawing support from Loco Dice, DJ Sneak, Carlo Lio and more. Releases have since followed across elrow Music, Dirtybird, Snatch!, Suara, Repopulate Mars, Rawthentic and Stereo Productions, with his early love of hip-hop and funk continuing to feed into the rhythmic sound of his productions.
Chiqito ‘Marimbas’ drops via Hot Creations on 30th October 2026.
