KARDASHIAN HALF-BROTHER BRODY JENNER BOOKS DJ GIG IN RENO
He can keep up with the Kardashians, but can he keep up with Skrillex?
Upon perusing Reno’s booming dance music calendar, it seems Brody Jenner—he of reality television royalty Kardashian/Jenner fame—will be happening upon the decks this Memorial Weekend at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino’s LEX Nightclub. His May 27 booking also happens to be the same night as Skrillex’s Burning Man fundraiser, which is happening just over two miles away at the Reno Events Center. It’s a scheduling conflict of main stage proportions.
Jenner, or DJ Brody Jenner, as he’s known (DJ BRO-DJ seems like such a missed opportunity), has been involved in Las Vegas’ dance music scene for a while. Last year, he kicked off a DJ residency at TAO, and earlier this year, he took his talents to Drai’s Nightclub. He’s also played in Atlantic City, Los Angeles, Waikiki, and Mount Pleasant, Michigan, so you know what that means: next stop, EDC.
To be fair, he does play a mean Icona Pop.
