Zoē Johnston, Justine Suissa to join Above & Beyond’s global acoustic tour
After stunning Los Angeles with expertly arranged acoustic performances in a pair of back-to-back shows at Greek Theatre in 2013,Above & Beyond made the bold move to take their rare live show to the remainder of the US and beyond. The famed trio announced in September that a 2016 global acoustic tour would take place, with their travels spanning Manchester, London, New York, Honolulu and Sydney, to name a few.
Joining Tony, Paavo and Jono on stage include long-time collaborators Zoē Johnston and Justine Suissa, who contributed their vocal talents to “We’re All We Need” and OceanLab’s Sirens of the Sea EP, respectively. Newcomers Cobi and Natalie Holmes will also act as support in the upcoming tour, which will begin on May 1 and conclude on June 6. As the group’s tour unravels, a new acoustic album showcasing reworks of their timeless works will also be unveiled.
Above & Beyond said of the additions, “We’re super excited to have our good friends Justine and Zoë on board for these special shows and it’ll be a rare treat for our fans to see them perform together. Cobi and Natalie really blew us away with the quality of their voices and we can’t wait to introduce them to you all.”
